The Extinction Cycle

The book I’m working on right now!  Synopsis: The world has seen cycles of insects come and go, but now the most dangerous cycle has started.  Large, deadly creatures start crawling out of the ground at an amazing rate.  Their outer shell is impervious to almost everything, they hunt and eat voraciously, and they are nearly everywhere.  Ashli and Travis McCullough, two professors in Montana, realize that these creatures are an extinction event.  Jake Smith and Ralph Jones, ex-Rangers living in West Virginia, have found a weakness and are fighting back.  The two groups eventually meet and form a plan for survival, but is it enough to save the world?
